The Tuality Healthcare Foundation is pleased to welcome two new members to the board of directors.

Amy Waltz-Hansen follows in a family tradition that began with her grandfather. She is the president of WSC Insurance in Forest Grove, a full-service agency established in 1946 by Homer H. Waltz.

Amy graduated cum laude from the University of Puget Sound with an honor’s business degree. She has served 18 years in the insurance business, developing a particular expertise working with public entities, social-service agencies, schools, and universities.

A certified insurance counselor and a certified risk manager, Amy applies her skills to community leadership as well, having served on the boards of both the Forest Grove Chamber of Commerce and the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Oregon. She is currently a member of Pacific University’s Center for Gender Equity advisory board.

Amy is an active member of Forest Grove United Church of Christ. She enjoys the company of her husband and two “very busy” daughters during her free time.

Lynn Petrey launched her successful professional career in 1963, when she earned a bachelor’s degree in business education at the University of Montevallo in Alabama.

Her career path took her to Kingsport, Tenn., where she worked for 23 years with Tennessee Eastman Company/Eastman Chemical, ultimately serving as a quality management consultant. Later, she moved to the healthcare arena, overseeing quality improvement for a local hospital. Lynn then turned her talents to real estate, working as an agent for two years before finally retiring in 1997.

In 2004, Lynn packed up and moved to Hillsboro to live closer to one of her two adult daughters. Today, she serves as a volunteer with Tuality Healthcare, regularly working in the Community Education department and at the Patient Information desk.

She also is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Cedar Hills in Beaverton, and is very involved with high school Key Clubs in the Beaverton School District. When she has time for herself, Lynn enjoys pursuing her love of gardening.
