The Tuality Healthcare Foundation is proud to award scholarships to high school graduates pursuing health-related careers.
Kari Zickel, a Glencoe High School graduate, is the recipient of the Flo Rhea Health Careers Endowment Scholarship. Kari is the daughter of Scot and Jennifer Zickel of Hillsboro. She will be attending Seattle University and majoring in nursing.
Kari volunteers at Tuality Healthcare, in addition to her work with the Library Foundation, and at an Outdoor School. She balances her volunteer work with athletics, including cross-country meets and dance training. She is a camp counselor and a leader with My Future-My Choice, a program that provides middle school students with age-appropriate sexuality education.
Kari looks forward to becoming a nurse and knows that nursing will be only the first step in her career in health care.
