The annual Coffee for a Cure event on Oct. 23 raised $4,068.46 to benefit breast health programs supported by the Tuality Healthcare Foundation.
The event sponsored by The Human Bean coffee shops in Hillsboro and Cornelius proves once again that a good cup of coffee for a good cause can help support the fight against breast cancer during Breast Cancer Awareness month.
“Kudos to the staff and executives at The Human Bean for spearheading this great event,” said Cece Clitheroe, Tuality Healthcare Foundation Director. “We appreciate The Human Bean’s partnership because the funds raised benefit our local clinics and directly support women in our communities facing breast cancer.”
The Coffee for a Cure event involves all 57 The Human Bean locations in eight states. The 57 shops raised a grand total of $161,389.83 from the 10th annual event. To date, The Human Bean coffee shops have raised a total of $852,046.05 in the event’s 10 years.
